Day by Day Itinierary

Day  6  Xian, Shanghai  ( B,L )
Continue your city tour in Xian. Later today you will be transferred to airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival at the Shanghai airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel. Free time for the rest of the evening.
Ancient City WallIt is the most well-preserved ancient military defensive systems in the world. It is composed of the moat, hanging bridges, battlements, watchtowers, tunnels and parapet. Today, the roadway is a promenade enjoyed by strolling tourist. Cycling on the wall with families is a great thing!
Shaanxi Provincial History MuseumIt is one of the Top 3 national museums in China. This museum boasts 370,000 pieces relics range from prehistory when human just used simple stone tools to exquisite wares in the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911)., and enables you to see the vast changes of China in the past 5,000 years.

[ Optional ] Cycle on the City Wall: The city wall is 12-14 meters (40-46 feet) wide at the top, plenty enough space for cycling, no traffic, no horns, clear air, sweet breeze...The cost for bicycle rental is RMB 20, 30 minutes ride is a good experience.

Yuyuan GardenThe Yuyuan Garden, also known as the “Yu Garden”, is an eminent classical Chinese garden and famed as “an architectural miracle in South China”. Inside the Yu Garden, you will be fascinated with traditional Chinese style houses, grottoes, pavilions, lotus ponds, and zigzag bridges crossing streams.
Nanjing RoadIf you are a fashion-seeking shoppers, this is the right place for you where all-in-one shopping malls, gorgeous restaurants and spectacular night views can be found. Buildings with distinctive features erect on both side of the street, huge signboards and advertisements show the city’s prosperity.
Yuyuan MarketLocated next to the Yuyuan Garden, it's a lively market that specializes in traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Souvenir hunters should not miss this hot tourist destination. Also you can try some Shanghai Xiao Long Bao, vegetarian buns, chicken soup to experience a little of the Shanghai culture.
The BundThe Bund is always the first thing to hit tourists when they visit Shanghai as it is regarded as Shanghai’s magnificent landmark. It is a waterfront area of Pu Xi (Shanghai Old Town), facing the newer part of Shanghai – Pu Dong.

[ Optional ] Shanghai Acrobats Show: There are two famous Shanghai Acrobatic Theatres: Shanghai Circus World and Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe. Mostly, performances are held each night and last for about 1.5 - 2 hours. You will marvel at varieties of exciting programs with countless near-impossible feats of flexibility, strength, endurance, and sheer willpower performed on stage

Continue your city tour in Shanghai. Later today you will be transferred to airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival in the Guilin airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel. Free time for the rest of the evening.
Jade Buddha TempleIt's a peaceful refuge from the bustle Shanghai, quite venerable, known for the two white jade Buddha statues imported from Burma. Its classic layout and architectural style of Song Dynasty makes the temple inimitable with neat and strict composition, ingenious structure and grand exterior.
Shanghai MuseumShanghai reputedly holds China's best collection of treasures from ancient bronzes, exquisitely carved jades and Ming and Qing dynasty antique furniture. Every visitor to Shanghai should try to pop in for at least an hour, but it's easy to spend a whole morning here.
Oriental Pearl TV TowerWith 467.9 meters in height, It is the forth tower in height in Asia and the sixth tallest in the world, opposite to the Bund. Its transparent elevator will take you to the top, which will offer a quiet good view of Shanghai. The basement houses the Shanghai Municipal History Museum.

[ Optional ] Cormorant Bird catching fish: Cormorant Fishing is unique in China, which has been existed for hundreds of years already. This way of fishing is that the well-trained cormorants dive into the water to hunt for fish after receiving orders from fisherman. The fisherman usually rewards them with one or two very small fish to encourage them.
Day  9  Guilin  ( B,L )
Take Li River Cruise to Yangshuo. The total cruise journey is around 30 Kilometers and takes 4 hours. Free time in Yangshuo in the afternoon.
West StreetIt is an ancient street with a history of over 1,400 years and lies in the heart of Yangshuo. It now draws visitors for its unique mix of cultures. The 2000-m-long street enjoys various bars, cafes, restaurants,art crafts and souvenir stores, foreign language clubs and even Kungfu schools.
Li River CruiseLi River boasts the largest and most beautiful scenic area in China, her landscape decorated with rolling hills, steep cliffs, fantastic caves, leisurely boats. Cruising on Li River, you can respire fresh air, feel the gentle breeze and appreciate the fabulous landscape on both sides.

[ Optional ] Impression Sanjie Liu: With 12 mountain peaks and the Li River as its background, unlike performances with traditional artificial stage, the Impression Liu Sanjie is a large outdoor awe-inspiring night performance. It lasts for 70 minutes and over 600 actors and actresses are involved. All the actors are local residents. Day  10  Guilin  ( B,L )
In the early morning, cycle from Yangshuo to Gaotian in the early morning, you will arrive at the Licun village and then you might climbe up the Moon Hill for a panoramic view of the beautiful rice paddies and mountians. The bike ride 2 hours round trip and the climb is 2 hours up and down. If you do not like cycling, we can take a coach tour. Back to Yangshuo and spend your leisure time on old West Street. Later today you will be transferred to Guilin Airport for return flight. Most of the passengers will fly 1 hour to Hong Kong to continue their journey.
Moon HillMoon Hill, one of the highlights in Yangshuo, gets this name as a moon-shaped hole penetrating a limestone pinnacle. You will enjoy various perspectives to appreciate the wonder, here the caves taking on different looks of “full-moon”, “half-moon” or “crescent moon”.
Yulong RiverYulong River is a small tribute of Li River, winds through rice planting fields, farm house, fishing bonds and thousands of limestone peaks. Many small dams have been built on Yulong River, still can see some relics of these ancient dams, which are used to hold water at a high level.
Bike ride in YangshuoCycling Excursion is the best way to appreciate the pristine countryside scenery in Yangshuo as trails often lead where buses and cars can’t go. In addition, cycling riding is the most economic way to tour the Yangshuo countryside which only about 1-2 dollars per day, also a popular way.
