Day 1 Arrival / Beijing
Transfer via: by air-own arrangement
Upon arrival at Beijing airport, you will be met by our English speaking tour guide and transferred to hotel. Leisure on your own for the rest of the day.
Day 2 (B, L, D) Beijing
Visit the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace. Watch Peking Opera in the evening.
Day 3 (B, L, D) Beijing
Great Wall tour at Mutianyu, Ming Tombs (Changling), Sacred Road. Taste Peking Roast Duck for your dinner.
Day 4 (B, L) Beijing
Visit the Temple of Heaven, Hutong tour. Free time at the rest of the day.
Day 5 (B) Beijing / Lhasa
Transfer via: by air
Transfer to airport for morning flight to Lhasa. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure to acclimatize yourself to the high latituder.
Day 6 (B, L) Lhasa
Full day trip to Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Tibetan family visit.
Day 7 (B, L) Lhasa
Full day trip to Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and free time on the Barkhore Street.
Day 8 (B) Lhasa / Xi'an
Transfer via: by train
Transfer to train station for the train to Xi'an. Stay overnight on the train.
Day 9
Be met at the railway station and transferred to hotel.
Day 10 (B, L) Xian
Visit Terra-Cotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Grand Mosque - the Muslem Quarter.
Day 11 (B, L) Xian / Shanghai
Transfer via: by air
Visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Old City Wall, transfer to Shanghai. Be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 12 (B, L, D) Shanghai
Visit Yu Garden, Old Town Bazaar, Shanghai Museum. Watch Shanghai Acrobatic Show at night.
Day 13 (B, L) Shanghai
Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund, Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Free time in Nanjing Road.
Day 14 (B) Shanghai / Depart
Transfer via: by air-own arrangement
Free time in the morning, you will be transferred to airport to catch the flight to your sweet home.
Meals as mentioned in the itinerary "B" stands for American breakfast, "L" for Chinese Lunch in local restaurant. "D" for Chinese dinner in local restaurant.
*Exceptions:
If the occasional hotel does not offer western breakfast, “B” stands for Chinese breakfast or if the clients requested Chinese breakfast.
