Day 1 Arrival / Beijing
Transfer via: by air-own arrangement
Upon arrival at Beijing airport, you will be met by our English speaking tour guide and transferred to hotel. Leisure on your own for the rest of the day.
Day 2 (B, L, D) Beijing
Visit the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace. Watch Peking Opera in the evening.
Day 3 (B, L, D) Beijing
Visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu, The Ming Tombs (Changling) & Sacred Way. Taste Peking Roast Duck for your dinner.
Day 4 (B, L) Beijing / Kunming
Transfer via: by air
Visit Temple of Heaven, Hutong Tour. Transfer to airport for your flight to Kunming. Be met and transferred to hotel.
Day 5 (B, L) Kunming / Stone Forest (100 km - 2 hours driving)
In the morning, visit the Western Hill, take the cable car to the Dian Lake and Dragon Gate (on the way). Drive to visit Stone Forest in the afternoon.
Day 6 (B, L) Stone Forest / Yuanyang (298 km - 9 hours driving)
Transfer via: by bus
Drive to Yuanyang in Honghe Prefecture. Enjoy different and unique view on the way. When arrival at Yuanyang, drive to the hotel for your rest directly.
Rice terrace system in Yuanyang is developed in mountainous landscape within which rice is cultivated, and it involves the development of specific water management and cultivation practices that produce specific beneficial outcomes. The ponding technique used in terrace system has allowed cultivation even on steep slopes, and it helps to prevent soil erosion and landslides.
Day 7 (B, L, D) Yuanyang
Morning, drive to visit the Rice Terrace in sunrise of Duoyishu Mountain Village of Hani People. Then drive back to visit the Sheng village's market, Bada Rice Terrace. Afternoon, visit the Qingkou Rice Terrace in Hani Village, enjoy scenery of Tiger Mouth Rice Terrace in sunset.
Day 8 (B, L, D) Yuanyang / Jianshui (175 km - 5 hours driving)
Transfer via: by bus
Drive to Jianshui in the morning. Visit Jianshui Confucious Temple, Double-Dragon Bridge, Private Garden of Zhu's Family.
Day 9 (B, L) Jianshui / Kunming (235 km - 4 hours driving)
Transfer via: by bus
Visit Zhang Family's House & Old town of Jianshui. Drive back to Kunming. Free time at the rest of the day.
Day 10 (B) Kunming / Departure
Transfer via: by air-own arrangement
Visit the Cuihu Lake in the morning, free time till to transfer to airport for your flight your next destination.
