Day 1
Arrival / Beijing
Transfer via: by air-own arrangement
Upon arrival at Beijing airport, you will be met by our English speaking tour guide and transferred to hotel. Leisure on your own for the rest of the day.
Day 2 (B, L, D)
Beijing
Visit the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace. Watch Peking Opera in the evening.
Day 3 (B, L, D)
Beijing
Visit the Great Wall at Badaling, The Ming Tombs (Changling) & Sacred Way. Taste Peking Roast Duck for your dinner.
Day 4 (B, L)
Beijing / Xian
Transfer via: by air
Visit Temple of Heaven, Hutong Tour, transfer to airport for your flight to Xian. Be met and transferred to hotel.
Day 5 (B, L)
Xian
Visit Terra-Cotta Warriors, Big Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower.
Day 6 (B, L)
Xian / Chongqing
Transfer via: by air
Visit Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, Old City Wall, Muslim Quarter. Transfer to Chongqing by air. Be met by our English speaking tour guide, enjoy the night view of Chongqing. Later transfer to get on board on Cruise Ship for our Yangtze River Cruise, we'll check in at night. We are going down the mighty Yangtze, third longest river in the world and the lifeblood of this vast country.
Day 7 (B, L, D)
Yangtze Cruise
Departs Chongqing at 08:00. Shore excursion to Fengdu Xueyu Cave.
Day 8 (B, L, D)
Yangtze Cruise
Shore excursion to Little Three Gorges.
Day 9 (B)
Yichang / Shanghai
Transfer via: by air
Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam site. Witness the enormity and scale of the Three Gorges Dam and ship lock. Arrives in Yichang at 13:00, be met and transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.
Day 10 (B, L, D)
Shanghai
Visit Yu Garden, Old Town Bazaar, Nanjing Road, Shanghai Museum. Watch Shanghai Acrobatic Show at night.
Day 11 (B, L)
Shanghai
Visit Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund, Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Transfer to airport for return flight to your sweet home.
Meals as mentioned in the itinerary "B" stands for American breakfast, "L" for Chinese Lunch in local restaurant. "D" for Chinese dinner in local restaurant.
*Exceptions:
If the occasional hotel does not offer western breakfast, “B” stands for Chinese breakfast or if the clients requested Chinese breakfast.
