Day 1
Arrival / Nanjing
Transfer via: own arrangement
Upon arrival at Nanjing airport, you will be met by our English speaking tour guide and transferred to hotel. Leisure on your own for the rest of the day.
Day 2 (B, L)
Nanjing / Wuxi
Transfer via: by train (about 1.5 hours)
Visit Zhonghua City Gate, Confucius Temple, Xuanwu Lake and Grand Bridge. Transfer to Wuxi by train. Be met and transfer to the hotel.
Zhonghua City Gate means Chinese gate, is the best preserved Chinse ancient castle, and the biggest and most splendid city gate of Nanjing city wall.
Day 3 (B, L)
Wuxi / Suzhou
Transfer via:
Grand Canal Cruise
Visit Li Garden, Xihui Park and old family of Qingshiqiao visiting. Take a Grand Canal Cruise from Wuxi to Suzhou. Be met at the dock and transfer to the hotel.
Cruise along the Grand Canal. It ranks alongside the Great Wall of China as the country's greatest engineering achievement and it is the longest man-made waterway in world.
Day 4 (B, L)
Suzhou
Visit the Humble Administrator's Garden, Panmen City Gate, Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill, No. 1 Silk Factory.
Humble Administrator's Garden consists of three parts with different types buildings around streams and ponds.
Day 5 (B, L)
Suzhou / Tongli / Suzhou / Shanghai
Transfer via: by bus, train-soft seat
Drive to Tongli Water village. Drive back to Suzhou, transfer to the train station for train to Shanghai. Be met and transfer to your hotel.
Day 6 (B, L, D)
Shanghai
Guided tour to the Shanghai Musuem, Yu Garden, Old Town Bazaar, Nanjing Road. At night, watch the famous Shanghai Acrobats.
Day 7 (B, L)
Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund, Oriental TV Tower and Old French Conncession.
Have a stroll along the waterfront at the Bund, to experience the smells, sights and sounds of the old "Wall Street" in Shanghai.
Day 8 (B, L)
Shanghai / Hangzhou
Transfer via: by train-soft seat
Take morning train to Hangzhou. Be met and transfer to visit the Lingyin Temple, Flying Peak, Dragon-well-Tea Plantation (Meijiawu Tea Plantation), West Lake, Fish viewing at Huagang.
Day 9 (B)
Visit the Six Harmony Pagoda in the morning. Later transfer to the airport for your flight to next destination.
Meals as mentioned in the itinerary "B" stands for American breakfast, "L" for Chinese Lunch in local restaurant. "D" for Chinese dinner in local restaurant.
*Exceptions:
If the occasional hotel does not offer western breakfast, "B" stands for Chinese breakfast or if the clients requested Chinese breakfast.
