Tobacco Workshop neighbors the silk cotton workshop. Wuzhen's dried red tobacco was widely known. Its cut tobacco is shaved from fresh tobacco leaves. After sun-dried, the cut tobacco turns to be in bright red color with heavy fragrance. Local people use a set of traditional tools (including planer tools) to make the cut tobacco. With time goes by, very few smokers now use dried red tobacco. But the process of making cut tobacco is still very interesting and worth watching.
