Beijing Opera Included in One-Day Tour

With more foreign tourists showing interest in traditional Chinese culture, China International Travel Service, or CITS, Beijing has recently introduced a new one-day tour option in the capital city.

The new tour, titled "One-Day Show," includes performances of Beijing Opera, Chinese martial arts (kung fu), traditional Chinese acrobatics, as well as dances and music that highlight the characteristic Chinese culture.

The programs on the new tour are specially selected for foreigners so they can experience as much Chinese culture as they can in a short time. To help foreigners have a better understanding of the shows, simultaneous interpretations in English, French and Japanese are available at the theater. During the show, viewers can also feast on famous Beijing snacks and sip well known tea.

The prices of the "One-Day Show" tours range from 100 to 600 yuan (about 12.5 to 75 US dollars), depending on the types of shows and seats.
